The Great Storm Talk and Tour was created as a partnership between Spooky Galveston and the Galveston County Museum. This Tour offers a historical look at the 1900 storm with the retelling of stories of those who endured the storm.
- Go on a biking adventure led by a guide in New Braunfels and Gruene
- Stop in Gruene’s Historic District for time for brunch (own expense)
- Go to Landa Park for wildlife spotting and swimming in the Comal
- A bike rental is included for an easy day out exploring

We will start by talking about the storm and taking guided tour of the 1900 Storm exhibit at the Galveston County Museum

The Home of the Weather Bureau during the 1900 storm this building is vital to the story of the 1900 storm and is also our mid point for a break.

We will pass by the Opera House and talk about the impact the great Storm had on the arts in the city.
