We will be putting in at the iconic Inn at Clarks, which has been around since the early 1900s. This makes us accessible for both night trips, as well as if you are looking to make this a longer overnight stay with The Inn at Clarks.
The first wildlife you might see is right there in the marina itself – their own security patrol – a small American Alligator! Don't worry, he won't eat… much. Make sure you have those cameras and phones ready.
Our route then traverses the Intercoastal Waterway, which is a navigable waterway approximately 12-15 ft deep – but don't you worry, the best is yet to come.
Once we get across the ICW, the route takes us South through a waterway called "the Fisherman's Cut" which spills us out into the iconic BarRoom Bay of Port O'Connor, Texas. Here is where you have the chance to see Stone Crab, Blue Crab, Stingrays, Flounder, different species of drum, and maybe even the curious Herring.
