Zilker Metropolitan Park



Zilker Metropolitan Park is a recreational area in south Austin, Texas at the juncture of Barton Creek and the Colorado River that comprises over 350 acres of publicly owned land. It is named after its benefactor, Andrew Jackson Zilker, who donated the land to the city in 1917

Auditorium Shores is an urban park located in downtown Austin, Texas, within the larger Town Lake Park. Its name refers to its location between the former Palmer Auditorium and the shores of Lady Bird Lake

The old hippy-highway….. cruising up the hills from Lady Bird Lake into one of the oldest neighborhoods in Austin. The old and the new and very new, side by side. We roll through Bouldin on the way to our first stop for food/bev.
